A Rabbi Looks at the Last Days, book by Jonathan Bernis
Few topics captivate our minds – or fill our hearts with fear – like the End Times. In this book, Jonathan Bernis brings a perspective that is both startling and hopeful, unpacking the mysteries of this cryptic time and what it means for you. Bernis’ surprising insights, drawn from both Old and New Testaments, will challenge almost everything you thought you knew about the End Times and show you how you can actually help usher in God’s Kingdom.
Gold-Toned See-Through Mezuzah
“Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” These words from Deuteronomy 6:4–5 are called the Shema. They are the Jewish people’s fundamental declaration of faith, and God commands they be written on the doorposts of our homes (Deuteronomy 6:9). A mezuzah is a small container with a scroll of the Shema inside that we affix to the doorframes of our houses in obedience to this command. This beautiful, gold-toned mezuzah includes a glass tube through which you can see the Shema written in Hebrew. Placed on your doorpost it will remind you of the Torah’s command to remember God’s Word, that He is one, and also to pray for Israel. The mezuzah measures approximately 5” long.
