In prayer, we are to ask with faith, trusting God to answer. The faith-fuel that enables us to trust God for our healing comes from the best of sources—God’s own Word! Here are just a few Scriptural prayers you can adapt for yourself and your loved ones, based on the truths and promises of Scripture:
Lord, I worship You and praise You. I listen to Your voice and align myself with Your will. You have declared Yourself to be my healer, Adonai-Jehovah Rofecha. You are true to Your Word and character, and not a human that would lie; therefore I have confidence and am able to believe that You are Who You say You are – my Healer! —Exodus 15:26; Numbers 23:19
Sickness is a product of the curse that fell on us as human beings due to the fall. However, Messiah Yeshua has redeemed all of us who believe in Him from the curse of the law, because He became and took on that curse for us, including sickness and disease. Thank You, Lord! —Galatians 3:13
Father, You have assured us that Yeshua bore our own sins on the tree, taking them in His own body and being wounded for our iniquities and bruised for our transgressions. We were and are healed by those very same stripes in His flesh. —Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5
Lord, I receive the forgiveness of my iniquities as part of my salvation. Likewise, I also receive the blessings and benefits of the healing of disease that is mine through that same atoning, once-and-for-all act of Yeshua’s sacrifice for me. -—Psalm 103:3
I trust you for the manifestation of the healing in my life. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise. —Jeremiah 17:14
I bless You, O Lord! My soul blesses You; in fact everything in me blesses You! I am constantly reminding myself of all Your benefits, including how You forgive my sin and heal all my diseases. —Psalm 103:1-6
