Tambubai’s breath came out heavy and wheezing. At first, doctors thought it was asthma. Tim, a member of the medical team, improvised a spacer out of an empty water bottle to help better deliver an inhaled medicine. Then he saw that her vital signs jumped erratically; her heart rate fluctuated between 71 and 94 beats per minute. Congestive heart failure was the likely culprit, perhaps caused by a heart attack or an infection.
Tambubai is 92 years old. Tim knew what medicine he wanted to give her, but he had never seen it available at an outreach clinic before. Even so, he asked. The pharmacy had everything he needed! “It’s still very serious,” Tim said, “but it’s important to do all that we can. Even at her age. It’s important to give her time to make peace with the Lord.”

Zimbabwe is home to the Lemba who clearly have ties to the ancient people of Israel, particularly the Levites. God is doing a mighty work among them. The Lemba are coming to faith in Yeshua by the thousands. In these Last Days, God is moving and gathering His People to Himself.
