In the next few weeks, the Israeli cabinet is expected to approve a special plan aimed at encouraging Europe’s Jews to immigrate to Israel.
The plan is a project of Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption. It would allocate a total of $29 million over the next two years to financial incentives and outreach efforts targeting Jews who are feeling less secure and considering relocation because of rising anti-Semitism and the economic downturn in Europe.
The goal is to persuade them to make Israel their destination of choice rather than other countries. The money required to execute the plan would come from funds already raised by the Jewish National Fund.
Aliyah is the word used to describe the immigration of genetically Jewish individuals and families to Israel from around the world. It’s an ancient Hebrew word that refers to ascending or “going up” to Jerusalem.
This ongoing re-gathering to Israel is very much a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. God’s Word says He will gather His People from the four corners of the earth and bring them back to Israel (Isaiah 11:12). He is fulfilling His promise right before our eyes.
Keeping you and others informed about these prophetic developments and equipped to live prudently and victoriously in these volatile Last Days is at the heart of our mission here at Jewish Voice. Your gifts of support help make that possible, but they do so much more.
When you partner with Jewish Voice, you’re a vital part of delivering medical, humanitarian, and spiritual aid to “Lost Tribes” communities and sharing the Good News of Yeshua the Messiah with Jewish People the world over.
